The winners of the Arts East-West public awards for our “Spotlight: Asian Québécois Films and Media Arts” and “Asian Short Films and Media Arts” are here!Congratulations goes to Abby (2023, Québec) by Fanny Lord-Bourcier for our “Spotlight” category and Anxious Body (2021, Japan) by Yoriko Mizushiri for our “Asian Shorts” category!

The winners will receive a $100 cash prize and a bojagi, a practical linen cloth brought from Korea that is used to cover and contain items such as gifts, foods, beds, and tables. Our audience has a tough task to choose their most favourite feature film.
