The 11th KFFC is overjoyed to have Montréal-based visual artist Jenny Lin conducting a workshop on May 28th at Ada X, in partnership with the Moving Image Research Lab’s Sociability of Sleep Project at McGill University. Working with experimental narrative and autobiographical fiction, primarily in the form of print-based installations, artists’ books and zines, Lin is drawn to the socio-political, accessible and community-based aspects of print and zine-making, self-publishing and self-distribution.💭For “Dreamzine”, their workshop will focus on intermedial works (print, zines, etc.) and concepts (socio-politics, accessibility, etc.), culminating in an experience where attendees will create their own zines, and participate in short writing and drawing exercises.
Join Jenny Lin and KFFC on May 28th from 1 PM to 5 PM at Ada X. Reserve your spot for this free workshop on our Eventbrite page and workshop page on our website.
