Last November. 2023, a special workshop took place during the 27th Reel Asian Film festival in Toronto with Arts East-West/KFFC based in Montreal, Quebec for better understanding the current landscape of Asian Canadian media arts in our respective two regions for further collaboration and partnerships.

Reel Asian is a 28-year-old charitable organization committed to showcasing contemporaryAsian cinema and cultural works from the Asian diaspora, and it is Canada’s largest pan-Asian film festival.We acknowledge the support of the Canadian Council of the Arts, which made the workshop possible. This workshop between the two organizations across provinces will be continued!
