Korean Film Council (KOFIC) is the evolution and global recognition of Korean cinema.Established in 1973, KOFIC is a government-supported, self-administered organization under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of South Korea. Its mission is to support and promote Korean films both domestically and internationally through funding, research, policy development, education, and professional training.
