We are proud to open a new chapter with the 13th edition of the Montreal Asian International Film Festival (MAiFF), taking place from May 14 – June 13, 2026.
This first edition as MAiFF marks more than a name change, it is new groundwork for our organization and a renewed commitment to uplifting Asian and Asian-Canadian arthouse cinema. Throughout the festival, audiences will discover emerging filmmakers, rising voices, and new faces shaping the future of contemporary Asian cinema from across the world. With over 60 films and events presented under our 2026–2027 theme Tangibility: Soil, Body, Stories, MAiFF invites audiences to stay curious, open-minded, and in conversation with artists whose stories deserve space on screen.
As we continue building this new platform for Asian arts in Montréal, we welcome your support, patience, and participation in helping us grow this next chapter together.
