The 12th KFFC introduces the new category “Intercultural Encounters” — a tribute to the artists who dance between worlds, in the meeting place of movement and memory.
This year, we shine a light on Centre Création Danse Nyata Nyata, founded by the luminous Franco-Congolese dancer, scholar, and choreographer Zab Maboungou. Through each step and breath, Nyata Nyata weaves a tapestry of body, spirit, and sound; a living dialogue across cultures.As part of our "Intercultural Encounters" series, we celebrate the rich tapestry of our neighbouring arts communities through a phenomenal lineup of screenings, live performances, and intercultural dialogue:
