Our upcoming AAPlab’s Asian Diaspora Book Collective (ADBC) meeting online will happen on April 6th, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm! It is a special meeting dedicated to planning and outlining our initiatives for the upcoming months.

Following a brief pause due to ongoing events hosted by Arts East-West, we are enthusiastic about reconvening and reigniting our conversations. ADBC is an online book reading and discussion community, taking place every other Saturday, online, on the subject of Asian diaspora and migration studies through the arts, which includes novels, poetry, essays, film, critical theory, painting, and roundtable talks with our members and guest speakers. This community-based reading group is open to the general public and requires no membership fee.

ADBC presents a wonderful opportunity for all members to contribute their thoughts and help shape the future trajectory of our book collective. Whether you’re a seasoned participant or new to the ADBC, we invite you to engage and share your perspectives with us.
