The 11th KFFC 2024 is happy to conduct another screening of Time of Seeds (2022) by SEOL Suan!

We will screen this film on May 24th from 8:30 PM - 10:00 PM at Dazibao art center, free of charge.

Time of Seeds (2022) gazes into the lives of the farmers who have been saving the seeds passed down for ages. Their daily work is in the end the arc of what we're losing now. The film shifts focus to the agricultural landscape, documenting the changes in the land through the 24 solar terms. The film intimately captures the labor of elderly farmers engaged in seed harvesting, emphasizing the challenges of the harvest and their dedication to preserving native plant species.Director SEOL Suan received a Master's degree in Screen Documentary at Goldsmiths, University of London. She is known for her short documentaries, including Complicated Order (2007) and Kungfu Tea (2017).
