To celebrate the start of the 11th Korean Film Festival Canada 2024 (KFFC), we will have our KFFC x HTMlles 2024: Acts of Movement at Ada X.

In partnership with the HTMIles festival’s “Acts of Movement’’ group showing at Ada X, artist-in-residence Yutong Lin will present « The Recipe Book », as part of their ongoing residency project “Jing’s Poetic Cartography” on Wednesday, May 1st, during the HTMlles festival opening from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. There will be a special vegan meal served by Yutong!

« Acts of Movement » explores the human experience through diverse artistic expressions, centering on flux, memory, and metamorphosis. From individual trajectories to societal transformations, we engage with narratives of loss and the enduring echoes of colonialism through immersive sensory experiences. Through this exploration, we invite introspection into our shared humanity, emphasizing the transformative power of storytelling. Visitors are encouraged to reflect on movement in both personal and communal contexts, delving into themes of displacement and resilience.
