While chasing his chance to direct, he meets Do-seok, a barber who longs to become a movie star, and Seon-young, a woman desperate to escape the boredom of everyday life. When they unexpectedly come into possession of a real gun, the three are drawn into a dangerous plan that blurs the line between cinema and reality. What begins like a scene from a movie gradually spirals in unpredictable directions, as Jong-se’s delusional dream pulls them into events beyond their control.

About the Director
Lee Myung-se
Director
Lee Myung-se is a South Korean film director known for his highly distinctive approach to cinematic time and space. His interest in filmmaking began in high school, when a deep curiosity about the meaning of life led him toward cinema. After graduating from university, he entered the film industry as part of director Kim Soo-yong’s directing team. Lee’s films are often recognized for their dreamlike, fairy-tale sense of reality and for their visually expressive style. Rather than following conventional realism, he reinterprets the world through his own cinematic perspective, creating a unique film language within Korean cinema. His continued experimentation across genres has made him an important auteur figure in the history of South Korean film.
