About the Director
Han Okhi
Director
A pioneering Korean experimental filmmaker and film critic, Han Okhi studied Korean literature at Ewha Women’s University. While working as a journalist for a magazine, she encountered filmmakers, painters and writers of the young generation, who were trying to rebel against the established culture. She became interested in experimental film and found peers who shared her vision.
