Life fatigued Mogwa meets five kinds of desire in the dark room - pig(food), porcupine(sleep), gisaeng(sex), goblin(property), prime minister(power)- and incur disgrace.In his own world he hungers food with pig, sleep with porcupine, sex with Gisaeng, property with goblin, covet fame with the prime minister. These five symbols of disgrace fasten the guilt upon Mogwa and mock him while he suffers in painMogwa becomes conscious of his own folly within the intolerable agony and realizes the frailty of obloquy. He becomes a butterfly after unburdening the evanescent ignominy and in the end he flies away with the liberty he gained within his inner self-soul.
